...was influenced by the Jazz music, Percussion and Improvisation of his good friend, Milo Kourtis and became a member of the Greek band, "Rebetiki Parea,". The band performed Rebetiki music in concert at Herbst Theater, in San Francisco, in memory of Melina Merkouri. Shortly after the Herbst performance he Joined KYMATA (Summer of 1994). Kosta has enjoyed performing and realizing his musical aspirations with KYMATA. In addition to studying under the guidance of George Mylordos, the band leader, he also studied with David Gordon, Voice Coach for UC Berkeley Music Department.
